Pollmann International GmbH announces that it has acquired 100% of the shares in MAXXOM Automation GmbH on January 7, 2022. MAXXOM Automation GmbH is based in Oberhofen am Irrsee in Upper Austria. With 17 employees and 3.9 million euros annual sales, they are specialized in innovative solutions for high-speed automation.

These automations are currently used in the automotive, electrical, consumer, pharmaceutical as well as in medical industries. In addition, MAXXOM Automation GmbH is sales and distribution partner for Schmidt Technology press systems, RNA feed technology, Friedrich riveting machines and Learner dispensing systems.

By integrating the Pollmann automation technology into MAXXOM Automation GmbH, we combine injection molding automation expertise with assembly system know-how. With the new size, MAXXOM Automation can offer international projects on a larger scale for external customers. In addition, order-specific capacities can be coordinated and synergies created.

Herbert Auer, CEO of Pollmann International GmbH, on the takeover: "The merger not only enables us to expand the range of services of MAXXOM Automation GmbH, it is also allows us to place it on a new international level. A big advantage for our customers! The planned new construction of the MAXXOM plant in Oberhofen also guarantees future growth.”

Lorenz Held, Managing Director of MAXXOM Automation GmbH, is pleased to have found the right partner for the future in Pollmann: "The tripling of the employee capacity empowers MAXXOM Automation to further develop, grow and internationalize in order to meet the high requirements of its top customers. The efficiency will continue to increase through close cooperation in design, manufacturing, assembly, programming and service.”
