In early December, Pollmann International successfully hosted its first Tech-Day at Bühler Motor. The two-day event took place on December 2 and 3 and marked an important milestone in the collaboration with the customer, who has been part of the Pollmann partner network since September 2024.
The objective of the Tech-Day was to deepen technical exchange, showcase technological expertise and discuss joint solution approaches for future projects.
 

Kick-off with a focus on partnership and production

The first day served as both a content-driven and personal warm-up. The focus was on getting to know the involved teams and initiating discussions on current and future topics. Bühler Motor subsequently invited the participants to a guided tour of its manufacturing and production facilities.

The showcased production areas, the EMC laboratory, the applied test equipment and the efficient validation processes provided a clear impression of the company’s high level of technical expertise and its strong commitment to quality. These insights underlined Bühler Motor’s capabilities as a development partner.
 

Technical exchange and joint project perspectives

The second day represented the technical core of the event. With an interdisciplinary group of 45 participants from development, advanced development, strategic purchasing and sales, Pollmann presented its technological capabilities as well as current developments in Design & Engineering and Research & Development.
This setting enabled a structured, solution-oriented exchange on existing topics as well as potential future project approaches.

Particular interest was shown in selected sample parts, which were closely examined on site by engineers and purchasers alike. The presentations and discussions resulted in a professional dialogue at eye level, during which Pollmann was also actively involved in early development and problem-solving processes.

Tech-Days as a strategic initiative

The Tech-Day at Bühler Motor marks the starting point for further events of this kind. The Tech-Days are part of a strategic core initiative at Pollmann, aimed at placing a stronger focus on the manufacturing expertise of the Austrian site.
At the Karlstein location, Pollmann is able to address specific and complex challenges in a targeted manner. In addition to series production, the company intends to increasingly offer economically sustainable and flexible production solutions in the future.
 

A platform for knowledge exchange and long-term collaboration

The Tech-Days are deliberately not designed as sales events. Instead, they serve as a platform for high-quality knowledge exchange between experts, for strengthening existing partnerships and for initiating new collaborations.
