Design Development

The digital interconnection of all Pollmann locations makes the entire know-how available at every site. Pollmann experts around the world develop an optimal product solution while paying particular attention to factors like cost, quality and production process.

Pollmann uses the Siemens CAD system NX in Combination with Teamcenter and additional programs such as Autodesk Moldflow, Ansys and Kisssoft for selecting the best materials, machines and manufacturing processes.
 

Process Development

Process development plays a major role as early as in the pre-project phase of component development.
Pollmann has its own Automation and Robotics department and defines production processes in-house. This makes us faster compared to competitors.

We use Process Simulate and Plant Simulate for the simulation of assembly and logistics processes.
