MAXXOM Automation sets the course for the future: With Matthias Kitzler as the new Managing Director and the successful move to the new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Oberhofen, the Pollmann Group's automation specialist is embarking on a dynamic growth phase.

New management: Matthias Kitzler takes over
Matthias Kitzler has been steering the fortunes of MAXXOM Automation GmbH as the new Managing Director since September 1, 2024. Matthias Kitzler, who previously worked as Managing Director of Pollmann de México, has extensive international management experience. His expertise in setting up and managing a production site under challenging conditions will be of considerable benefit to MAXXOM in the upcoming growth phase. 

His career began at Pollmann in 1999 and includes positions as a toolmaking technician, project manager, key account manager and purchasing director. All in all, the 44-year-old has a remarkable range of specialist knowledge. “I have always been involved in series production. What I find particularly fascinating about my new role is that I can now contribute my experience directly to the automation sector. Leading a young, dynamic team and setting new standards together with them motivates me anew every day,” explains Matthias Kitzler.

He is the successor to Stefan Pollmann, who is now concentrating fully on his key role as Vice President of Business Development & Sales for the Pollmann Group.

Successful relocation: More space for innovation and efficiency
MAXXOM's strategic growth course is also underpinned by the successful move to the new company building. The new building at Sportplatzstraße 19 in Oberhofen, Upper Austria, not only offers twice as much space, but also a sustainable energy concept and a state-of-the-art infrastructure. These factors create optimal conditions for an efficient workflow. 

“The move was an enormous team effort that required a lot of commitment and collective effort. But the efforts were worth it – our production started up again as planned in October. We are now in the ideal position to achieve our growth targets,” emphasizes Matthias Kitzler.

An look into the future: MAXXOM as a global key player
MAXXOM has set itself the ambitious goal of establishing itself as a key player for automation solutions not only in German-speaking countries, but also at an international level across all industries. E-mobility also offers great opportunities here: MAXXOM is already seeing increasing demand from this sector.

Thanks to the integration into the Pollmann Group, the associated global presence and the gain in know-how of the series manufacturer, MAXXOM is in a position to implement innovative automation solutions for customers all over the world.
