Open shop area for working creatively in a networked environment

Pollmann supports HTL Hollabrunn with five new workstations

With the new makerspace shop, engineering college (HTL) Hollabrunn is developing a new creative work area. Director Wolfgang Bodei came up with the idea. He wanted to equip this area with sophisticated 3D printers, laser cutters or a special embroidery machine. “By providing free access to these modern means of production, we want to support students in working in a networked environment.”

Robert Pollmann – himself keenly interested in technology and IT – is excited about this idea to generate passion for creative future strategies in young people and donated four new workstations to the makerspace.

“Clever Together” is the programmatic name and motto of this makerspace which is located in the facilities of HTL Hollabrunn. This creative space will also be open to students and teachers of the business college (HAK) and commercial college (HWL) Hollabrunn. Interested individuals and partner companies are also invited to share and implement their ideas.

Production know-how according to the Industry 4.0 format will be made available across schools both for project-based teaching and private initiatives. Using the makerspace independently outside regular school hours is not only permitted, but actively encouraged.

Warm greetings to Hollabrunn!
We hope you will have fun working together and coming up with many new product ideas!
