Fit thanks to a clear product strategy
Here they are! The new Pollmann product classes

Proper organization and a product family which is clearly relevant for our customers are two important cornerstones for the sustainable development of our company. That is why, during the first half of 2016, Pollmann International put a lot of thought into how we can present our extensive product portfolio to our customers with even more clarity and transparency.

In doing so, we see our role as follows: Our excellence in developing and producing highly complex mechatronics modules using a composite of metal and plastic makes us the best partner to the automotive industry when it comes to large volumes. Our solutions which are based on innovative processes play a major part in our customers’ success.

For this project, we worked with Brands and Friends GmbH in Linz, a company which specializes in positioning processes and brand development. Together, we worked out a strategy and developed a new design line.

We were able to organize the Pollmann product portfolio into five distinct areas (each with its subgroups) which are perfectly aligned with the trends in the cutting-edge automotive industry. This strategy enhances and differentiates the Pollmann brand and reinforces its global expertise.

Our new product, market and growth positioning also requires new initiatives in a number of departments. It becomes an essential component of our sales strategy and a reference for our continued technology development. In addition, this positioning provides valuable parameters for making decisions regarding supplier and HR strategies. This will ensure stable future and growth opportunities for our company and at all locations.
