Ulrich Ottmann was appointed as the new managing director of Pollmann China. The automotive expert, who is also extremely knowledgeable about China, has taken over the helm of the company during a period of strong growth, as developments in turnover were far better than expected in 2009. A further increase of 50 per cent is planned for 2010.

Pollmann North America hosts Lower Austria

Lower Austria’s Minister for Economic Affairs, Dr. Petra Bohuslav, visited Pollmann North America during her Economic fact finding mission to the United States in early May. After a brief greeting and general introduction, PNA President Andreas Reger presented the company’s range of products and gave insight into the automobile industry from a supplier’s viewpoint. The final “highlight” to the plant tour was for Dr. Petra Bohuslav and Andreas Reger to start a new injection molding machine on the sun-roof production line together.
